Update: Gasol (concussion) has not been cleared to continue basketball activities but will be examined again before Friday's contest against Oklahoma City, the Orange County Register reports.
Recommendation: Gasol has already missed two games due to the injury and may soon miss a third. Until he passes the NBA's protocol for head injuries, Robert Sacre and Earl Clark are apt to earn more than modest minutes in a fractured Lakers frontcourt.
