Cornerback Kyle Arrington re-signed with the New England Patriots, agreeing to a four-year deal Friday.
Arrington started 40 games in the past three seasons with the Patriots, who added Arrington in 2009. He was on the roster of the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a rookie in 2008 but played in only one regular-season game.
Arrington cracked the starting lineup in New England in 2010 and has played outside and over the slot receiver as the Patriots' nickel cornerback.
He had seven interceptions in 2011.
