The Patriots have agreed to terms on a two-year deal with C Dan Koppen, according to Albert Breer of NFL.com. The deal is worth $6 million, per Breer’s report.
Koppen started only one game last season before going down with a broken fibula in the season opener, which forced him to injured reserve. In his career, he has started 120 games for the Patriots since being drafted in 2003.
New England re-signed C Dan Connolly earlier in the offseason, leading to speculation that Koppen could be moved to guard if OG Brian Waters opts to retire.
