The Patriots released DB Sterling Moore and signed LB Mike Rivera and DB Derrick Martin.
Moore has appeared in all eight games this season. He has 13 tackles, one pass defensed and one forced fumble. Last season, he played in six games with three starts as a rookie and had two interceptions. Moore’s pass defensed against the Ravens in the AFC title game helped get the Pats to the Super Bowl.
Rivera played in the first two games of this season for New England before being released. He joined Miami and played in one game for the Dolphins, but was released on Oct. 3.
Martin spent August with the Patriots. The sixth-year veteran played in 14 games for the Giants last season, including all four postseason games. He has 92 career tackles and three interceptions.
