New England Patriots defensive back Devin McCourty recently had minor shoulder surgery, the Boston Globe reported Saturday.
He is rehabbing the shoulder and is expected to be ready for training camp this summer.
It is not clear when he was injured.
The 2010 first-round draft pick started eight games at cornerback and 10 at safety (includes the playoffs). He had 60 tackles and five interceptions. He also served as the team's kickoff returner.
