Patriots have scheme, personnel to replace Cunningham

The NFL suspended Patriots DE Jermaine Cunningham four games for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Cunningham, a third-year pro out of Florida, has played in all 11 games this season with three starts. He has made 23 tackles and a career-high 2½ sacks this season.

Cunningham is the second Patriots player to receive a four-game suspension for violating the league’s PED policy. Rookie RB Brandon Bolden is currently serving his suspension.
