Panthers to honor Jaromir Jagr's mullet with tank top giveaway

There have been some spectacular promotional giveaways in the NHL this season.

San Jose has crushed all competitors with Brent Burns ‘grills’ and Thursday’s Joe Thornton chia beard. The Islanders’ Ralph Macchio bobblehead was also great, while the Predators’ oven mitt promotion earns full marks for practicality.

The Florida Panthers are the latest team to get in on the fun. Although “t-shirt” giveaways are a dime a dozen, Jaromir Jagr mullet tank top giveaways are not.

It’s the perfect beach attire for every hockey fan — or at least those who wear tank tops and can fit into the one size they hand out during these promotions.

Fans can get their hands on these bad boys with the purchase of a ticket (starting at $19!) to a game next week against either the Carolina Hurricanes or Arizona Coyotes, which totally makes sense.

This is the second time the Panthers have honored Jagr with a promotional night this season following October’s bobblehead giveaway.
