SAN DIEGO -- Chase Headley, Nick Hundley and Alexi Amarista each hit a home run as part of a multi-hit afternoon, and the San Diego Padres completed a three-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants with a 6-4 win Sunday at Petco Park.

The Padres (9-15) earned their fourth straight win, while the Giants (13-12) lost their fifth in a row. The defending World Series champs have dropped eight of their past 12 games, and they have a six-game road losing streak.

Headley finished 3-for-3, including his first inning solo homer, plus a walk. Hundley's two-run homer in the second inning was one of his two hits, while Amarista had a two-run homer in the fourth, and he wound up with two hits, three runs and a walk.

Padres right-hander Jason Marquis (2-2) pitched 6 2/3 innings of two-run ball. After Brad Brach was charged with two runs, Luke Gregerson and Huston Street each threw a scoreless inning, and Street picked up his fifth save of the season.

Ryan Vogelsong (1-2) gave up all three San Diego homers. He threw five innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits.

Pablo Sandoval went 4-for-5 for San Francisco, which got a two-run homer from Buster Posey in the eighth inning.

NOTES: Amarista's home run traveled only 369 feet and was the first one by the Padres to clear the new fence in right field. The previous three to take advantage of the fresh dimension were all hit by opponents. ... The Giants have struggled away from AT&T Park losing eight of 13 games ... The Padres have stolen 11 straight bases without getting caught. ... The Padres' road trip, which begins Monday against the Cubs, is brief. Chicago, where the Padres will play four games, is the only stop, with the team returning to San Diego on Friday to play the Diamondbacks in the opener of a three-game series. ...The Giants will visit Arizona for three games starting Monday, then return home Friday to face the Dodgers.
