SAN DIEGO -- Chase Headley, Nick Hundley and Alexi Amarista each had a home run as part of a multi-hit afternoon, and the San Diego Padres completed a three-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants with a 6-4 win Sunday at Petco Park.
Headley finished 3-for-3, including his first inning solo homer, plus a walk. Hundley's two-run homer in the second inning was one of his two hits, while Amarista had a two-run homer in the fourth, and he wound up with two hits, three runs and a walk.
Padres right-hander Jason Marquis (2-2) pitched 6 2/3 innings of two-run ball. After Brad Brach was charged with two runs, Luke Gregerson and Huston Street each threw a scoreless inning, and Street picked up his fifth save of the season.
Ryan Vogelsong (1-2) gave up all three San Diego homers. He threw five innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits.
Pablo Sandoval went 4-for-5 for San Francisco, which got a two-run homer from Buster Posey in the eighth inning.
