Packers re-sign linebacker Brad Jones

The Green Bay Packers have re-signed linebacker Brad Jones, the team announced on Thursday.

Jones played in all 16 games for the Packers last season, starting in a career-high 10. He recorded career highs in tackles (102) and passes defensed (six), and added two sacks and a forced fumble.

Jones was selected by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of the University of Colorado. For his career, Jones has posted 182 tackles (124 solo), seven sacks, six passes defensed and a forced fumble. He has also made 24 tackles on special teams.
