The Packers released S Charlie Peprah on Wednesday. The seventh-year veteran confirmed the news to ESPN Milwaukee’s Jason Wilde.
Last season, Peprah had 94 tackles, 10 passes defensed and five interceptions. He played in 16 games with 14 starts and returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown.
Peprah also played for Green Bay in 2006-08 and 2010. He played in two games for the Falcons in ’09.
According to Wilde, Peprah had not practiced this offseason because of a knee injury. The Packers used a fourth-round pick on SS Jerron McMillan in April’s draft.
