Packers Pick Up 31-24 Win Over Jets

Aaron Rodgers had a huge day throwing the ball, paving the way to a win for the Packers over the Jets, 31-24, at home.

Rodgers lit up the Jets for three scores on 25 of 42 passing for 346 yards and one fumble. Geno Smith went 16 of 32 with 176 yards passing, two touchdowns (1 pass, 1 rush) and one pick for the Jets.

Eddie Lacy ran for 43 yards on 13 carries in addition to two receptions for 18 yards. Jordy Nelson was a top receiver, catching nine passes for 209 yards with a touchdown.

The Green Bay defense allowed 146 yards rushing and 176 passing. They brought down Smith for two sacks.

Lastly, Mason Crosby was perfect, hitting all three of the field goals he attempted.

Jets wide receiver Eric Decker put up 63 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The Packers head to Detroit next week to face the Lions (1-1) while the Jets host the Bears (0-1).
