Jimmy Graham had a big night, paving the way to a win for the Saints over the Falcons, 17-13, at Georgia Dome.
Drew Brees found the end zone for two touchdowns against the Falcons on 23 of 33 passing for 278 yards and no interceptions. On the Falcons side, Matt Ryan went 30 for 39 with 292 yards passing, no touchdowns and no interceptions.
Pierre Thomas was a focal point for the Saints, running at will on the Falcons for 73 yards on 10 carries while adding five receptions for 57 yards. Graham was a weapon for the offense, catching five passes for 100 yards with a touchdown.
The New Orleans defense was the deciding factor in the victory, giving up 91 yards rushing and 292 passing. They consistently put pressure on Ryan and the Falcons offensive line, racking up five sacks.
Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas totaled 79 receiving yards. Running back Steven Jackson also had a noteworthy performance with 63 rushing yards, 16 receiving and one touchdown.
Next week, the Saints travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks (10-1) while the Falcons go to Toronto to play the Bills (4-7).
