The Orioles activated catcher Taylor Teagarden from the 60-day disabled list and called up right-handed pitcher Miguel Socolovich from Triple-A Norfolk.
To clear the roster spots, catcher Ronny Paulino was outrighted to Norfolk and left-handed reliever Dana Eveland was designated for assignment.
Teagarden was placed on the disabled list April 4 with a strained back. Acquired from Texas last December, he batted .250 in nine rehab games.
Socolovich was signed as a minor league free agent last November, and posted a 3-0 record with a 1.77 ERA in 24 games for Norfolk this season and was named to the Triple-A All-Star Game.
Paulino was hitting .254 in 20 games this season, while Eveland went 0-1 with a 4.73 ERA in 14 appearances, including two starts.
