TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Shawn Glover scored 27 points as Oral Roberts cruised to a 79-59 win over New Orleans Thursday.
Korey Billbury added 21 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists for Oral Roberts (11-12, 5-5 Southland Conference), as the Golden Eagles opened the game on a 9-2 spurt and never trailed.
New Orleans (8-10, 5-5) committed 14 of its 19 turnovers in the first half, and trailed 34-20 at the break. Oral Roberts opened the second half on an 11-3 run and never let the lead slip into single digits during the half.
Oral Roberts shot 50 percent from the field in the contest. Glover added eight rebounds and eight blocks while Brandon Conley had 11 points and Bobby Word added 10.
Christavious Gill led the Privateers with 12 points and James Harrison added 10.
Oral Roberts ended a four-game losing streak while New Orleans had its three-game winning streak snapped.
