OPINION: Reinstatement of Josh Gordon trouble for Ravens?
While sitting at home watching television, I noticed a news report of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s reinstatement of suspended Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon.
That’s when Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith immediately came to mind. That’s because Josh Gordon is a wide receiver that demands attention and he is a game changer.
Wide receiver Josh Gordon received a 1 year suspension for the entire 2015 season without pay, for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.
Before returning to play in 2016, Gordon must first serve a 4 game suspension as part of his agreement. He will be eligible to return during Week 5 of the season against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Josh Gordon and the Cleveland Browns will meet the Ravens week 10 in Baltimore for an AFC North showdown at M&T Bank Stadium. The game is Thursday, November 10th on NFL Network at 8:25 pm eastern.
Cleveland took a huge step forward in January of this year, by hiring former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator, Hue Jackson.
Returning for the Browns in 2016 is outstanding tight end Gary Barnage (79 rec/1034 yds) and running back Duke Johnson (61 rec/534 yards). Wide receivers Taylor Gabriel (28 rec/241 yds) and Andrew Hawkins (27 rec/276 yds) will also be returning.
Needing an experienced quarterback, the Browns signed former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III.
On November 10, 2016 at 8:25 pm in Baltimore, it should be very entertaining to watch the Ravens improved secondary face off against the Cleveland Browns offense and reinstated Josh Gordon.
