There are big NFL players, and then there's Ra'Shede Hageman.

When the Falcons drafted Ra'Shede Hageman back in May, everyone was aware of the extraordinary potential that the Minnesota standout possessed.  As we've seen on Hard Knocks the past few weeks, Hageman has a lot of work to do before he can be a star in Atlanta's defensive front.  It's a matter of harnessing that potential, and turning it into production.

At 6'6", and 318 pounds, there's no question that Ra'Shede can be a dominant player.  He has a ceiling as high as any other player on the team, but with it comes a floor that none of us want to see.  Last week we saw some of his pass rushing ability with a satisfying sack, and hopefully that can be recreated in some 3-4 sets during the season.  For now, we just have to watch how he performs in the common nickel we've seen most of the preseason.

Currently, players such as Jonathan Babineaux and Tyson Jackson have kept Hageman off of the field, but with a strong showing against Jacksonville, it may warrant some more time in the rotation come week one.

How do you think Ra'Shede will fare, and do you see him growing into the player Dimitroff envisioned him becoming when the front office selected him?
