Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical:

Oklahoma could get offensive help from Penn State transfer

National Football Post

Oklahoma could be the next beneficiary of player exodus at Penn State if the program could land senior receiver Justin Brown, who can play right away without having to sit out a year after the NCAA's punishment against the Nittany Lions.

According to ESPN’s Joe Schad, Brown is scheduled to meet with Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien Friday and is considered a strong lean to transfer to Norman. Brown has also reportedly been contacted by Cincinnati and Illinois.

If Brown becomes a Sooner, he adds depth and experience to the receiver corps, and he'll take a little bit of pressure off of star junior Kenny Stills. Stills is the only active OU receiver with a career FBS reception. While Jaz Reynolds and Trey Franks were reinstated Wednesday from suspension, Sooners head coach Bob Stoops said that they will miss a considerable amount of time.

In 2011 Brown had 35 receptions for 517 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-3, 214-pounder's numbers could rise in his final college season in the Sooners' offensive scheme.
