Oklahoma CB arrested for assault and battery, public intoxication

Oklahoma cornerback Jordan Thomas was arrested Thursday morning on three complaints.

Thomas, a projected starter as a junior, is charged with assault and battery, public intoxication and interference. The news was first reported by Sooner Scoop.

Thomas’ arrest report was filed at 2:45 a.m. according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office. No details regarding the allegations that led to the arrest are given on the arrest report.

He spent a night in jail in December after he failed to appear in court for a traffic citation. He was caught going 94 MPH in a 75 MPH zone in July and had his licese suspended in October. A warrant was issued for his arrest in November per NewsOK.com.

Thomas had five interceptions in 2015 despite missing time twice because of violations of team rules. He missed the first quarter of the season-opening game vs. Akron and was also suspended for the third game of the season vs. Tulsa.

Thomas had 46 tackles in 2015 and also had four pass breakups. He started four games in 2014 and had 32 tackles and five passes broken up. He was a three-star recruit in the class of 2014.
