Aston Villa has signed Tottenham forward Simon Dawkins on loan until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has previously had spells at Leyton Orient, and more recently MLS side San Jose Earthquakes, where he scored 14 goals in 53 appearances.
The attacker is yet to make a first team appearance for Spurs despite having been at the club for a period of five years as a professional.
The midfielder becomes the second signing on deadline day for Paul Lambert's side, after bringing in Yacouba Sylla from Clermont Foot, while Alan Hutton and Stephen Warnock have left Villa Park to join Mallorca and Leeds United, respectively.
