Oakland Athletics at Texas Rangers Highlight MLB Schedule for September 27, 2012

The 2012 MLB regular season is nearly complete with just a handful of teams battling it out for a shot at the postseason. Teams that are still in the hunt face extraordinary pressure while those eliminated have the opportunity to play spoiler. It is perhaps the most exciting time of the regular season.

The highlight of the day will be when the Oakland Athletics visit the Texas Rangers at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington located in Arlington, Texas.

Travis Blackey (5-3, 3.75 ERA) will take the mound for the Athletics facing off against the Rangers' Matt Harrison (17-10, 3.17 ERA) in a must-win game if the Athletics want to pull ahead in the AL Wild Card race.

With a number of great games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
