FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- Taylor Braun had 20 points and North Dakota State shot 54.2 percent on Thursday night in a 91-69 home victory against Nebraska-Omaha.
The Bison opened the game on a 10-2 run, led by as many as 15 in the first half and cruised to victory in the second.
Lawrence Alexander had 14 points, Mike Felt had 13 and Marshall Bjorklund added 11. TrayVonn Wright and Kory Brown each added 10 for NDSU (13-5, 2-1 Summit League).
After falling behind 22-9, Omaha (10-7, 0-2) answered with a 13-6 run to close within six and managed to keep the halftime deficit at 10.
The Mavericks missed their first 7 shots from the field in the second half to create a 17-point gap as they went scoreless for the first 4 1/2 minutes
Justin Simmons led Omaha with 21 points, CJ Carter scored 16 and Devin Patterson 11.
