North Carolina A&T routs SC State St 58-35

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Jean Louisme scored 15 points, making 4 of 8 3-pointers, to help North Carolina A&T blow out South Carolina State 58-35 Saturday in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game.

Jeremy Underwood cracked double figures with 10 points, helping North Carolina A&T (14-15, 7-7) snap a three-game losing streak.

Austin Witter finished with four blocks to give him 86 for the season, breaking Thomas Coleman's record of 85 set during 2008-09 season.

On top 27-20 at halftime, the Aggies started the second half on a 26-9 run to take their biggest lead of the game, 53-29, with 5:07 left to play. Jeremy Underwood capped the run with a free throw, and North Carolina A&T held at least a 20-point lead the rest of the way.

South Carolina State (5-22, 1-13) did not have any players score in double figures, but was led by Darryl Palmer and Khalif Toombs, with 7 points each.
