Nordqvist, Hull-Kirk tied for lead in South Korea

Anna Nordqvist and Katherine Hull-Kirk shot 2-under rounds of 70 on Saturday to share the second-round lead at the LPGA KEB: HanaBank Championship in Incheon, South Korea.

Nordqvist was able to card four birdies while adding two bogeys in gusty conditions.

"I was fortunate I made enough birdies to kind of make up for it," Nordqvist said. "My golf swing is all right but I'm just going to go hit some balls on the range when I'm done here and just get a bit of time back. But I feel confident with where my game is, and really happy to be in this position."

Nordqvist is seeking her first LPGA victory since 2009, while Hull-Kirk hasn't won on Tour since 2010.

No. 2-ranked Suzann Pettersen is among a group of three golfers one shot back. There are 10 South Korean golfers within four shots of the lead attempting to win in their home country.

"There are so many good players on the leaderboard and it's really close," Hull-Kirk said. "I's anyone's day tomorrow, you just go out there and do your best, add them up at the end, and whoever has the lowest wins. You can't control what everyone else is doing. You can only do your best."
