COMMENTARY | Tom Brady is beloved and respected by plenty of fans, teammates, and opponents. When you've accomplished as much as he has, you will have more than your fair share of fans. He is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. Brady has three Super Bowl rings, he holds the record for touchdown passes in a single season, and he constantly has his team in the hunt for a championship.
These are all great things, but Terrell Suggs simply does not care. Surprising, right?
The Baltimore Ravens linebacker was not shy when asked about Tom Brady. It's plain and simple; he doesn't like Brady. This includes Brady's attitude, his hair, and pretty much everything else about him. Suggs is always talking, and this is just the latest topic that he decided to weigh in on.
It's actually refreshing to see a player like Suggs have so much passion against an opponent. Sure, he sounds crazy more often than not. A lot of the time he's just talking for the sake of talking. Still, this is professional sports, and it's fun to watch two players who don't like each other go at it. It makes the games even more heated, and brings out the best in both parties. Who doesn't like that?
Suggs is is certainly not alone in his assessment of Brady. There are plenty of people who don't like the New England Patriots quarterback for a wide variety of reasons, particularly outside of New England. Without a doubt, he's a polarizing figure.
At this point, I just want to see Brady and Suggs square off again. Suggs is stirring the pot, and although he probably won't respond publicly, Brady is certainly taking notice. Not to mention, he's surely looking for revenge from last year's playoffs.
This could be fun.
