The hoopla surrounding Peyton Manning and the expectations in Denver is palpable, but Manning needs a third wideout to throw to after starters Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. The fight to be the third player on the field — someone sure to get plenty of opportunities with Manning at the helm — is one of the key camp competitions for the Broncos. Veteran Brandon Stokley might have an edge with his experience with Manning after playing for the Colts from 2003-06, which included 1,077 receiving yards and 10 TDs in ’04. Stokley, 36, has to prove he is healthy and that he still has the speed to get open. Free-agent acquisition Andre Caldwell is a player the team likes a lot, the way we hear it. Caldwell had 37 catches and three touchdowns last season for Cincinnati and impressed observers at the start of Broncos training camp. Another receiver to watch is Matt Willis, a speedster who has performed well the last two training camps but hasn't translated it into the regular season.
