The University of Arizona secured a top recruit Thursday when forward Rondae Jefferson committed to the school.
Jefferson arrives at a time when the Wildcats are seeking to replace forwards Solomon Hill and Kevin Parrom. Jefferson, ESPN's No. 14 prospect in the Class of 2013, also considered Florida, Texas, Rutgers, Syracuse, Memphis and Temple.
Jefferson's brother, Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson, opted to stay in his home state of Pennsylvania, and selected Temple.
Jefferson is a member of Chester High School team that is riding a 58-game winning streak and has won two consecutive state titles.
