Vucevic went 8-11, in a quality offensive outing. Orlando also got solid performances from Arron Afflalo with 21 points and 7 assists, Tobias Harris with 17 points and 7 rebounds, and Glen Davis with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Despite the loss, Jeff Teague put up 22 points for Atlanta on 9-17 shooting, including 2-4 from behind the arc. He also recorded 8 assists. Paul Millsap contributed 17 points and 7 rebounds.
After putting up an eFG% of 60.8%, the Magic are undefeated (2-0) this season when reaching 60% in that metric. From a defensive perspective, Atlanta is winless (0-3) when an opponent shoots that well against them.
This drops Atlanta (17-14) to 1-2 versus Orlando on the season.
