NHL roundup: Ducks' Silfverberg to miss 4-6 weeks
Anaheim Ducks right winger Jakob Silfverberg is expected to miss four to six weeks after breaking his hand Friday, the team announced Saturday.
Ottawa's Jared Cowen reportedly slashed Silfverberg late in Friday's 2-1 Ducks' win over the Senators.
Silfverberg scored four goals and three assists in his first seven games this season after he was part of an offseason trade with the Senators for winger Bobby Ryan.
In other Ducks' injury news, left winger Dustin Penner, who missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, is expected to rejoin the team in time for Sunday's game at Columbus.
---The Vancouver Canucks announced Saturday that they reassigned center Pascal Pelletier to Utica of the American Hockey League.
Pelletier, 30, made his Canucks debut Friday against the St. Louis Blues.
He has two goals and five assists in seven games with Utica this season.
Pelletier has played 14 career NHL games with the Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins. He signed with Vancouver as a free agent in July.
