NHL roundup: Canucks re-sign G Lack

The Vancouver Canucks re-signed goalie Eddie Lack to a two-year, $2.3 million contract extension, TSN reported Friday.

According to the report, Lack, 25, will make $1 million in 2014-15 and $1.3 million in 2015-16.

He could have become a restricted free agent in July.

In five games this season as the team's No. 2 goalie, Lack is 2-2-0 with a 2.41 goals-against average and .911 save percentage.

He spent the previous three seasons in the American Hockey League and was promoted to the Canucks after Cory Schneider was traded to New Jersey in the offseason.
