He was scheduled to become a restricted free agent on July 1. - - The Calgary Flames acquired Alex Chiasson from the Ottawa Senators for minor-league defensive prospect Patrick Sieloff and signed the forward to a one-year contract. Chiasson collected seven goals, eight assists and 45 penalty minutes in 77 games with Ottawa last season. The 25-year-old scored 38 goals and set up 44 others in 239 career contests with the Dallas Stars and Senators. - - Arizona Coyotes goaltender Louis Domingue signed a two-year contract, the team announced. Financial terms were not disclosed for the 24-year-old Domingue, who came on for the injured Mike Smith and posted a 15-18-5 mark with two shutouts, a 2.75 goals-against average and .911 save percentage in 39 games last season. - - The Detroit Red Wings re-signed left winger Drew Miller to a one-year contract. The deal is worth a reported $1.025 million, plus bonuses. Miller, 32, has tallied 100 points (51 goals, 49 assists) in 449 games with the Red Wings since joining the team in 2009-10. - - The Boston Bruins tendered qualifying offers to defenseman Torey Krug and five other players on Monday. Krug joined fellow blue-liners Colin Miller, Joe Morrow and minor-leaguer Chris Casto in addition to forwards Brian Ferlin and Alexander Khokhlachev in receiving qualifying offers.
