NFL to teams: Stop sniping at opposing players

The NFL sent a memo to teams warning them to stop sniping about opposing teams' players, Fox Sports reported Sunday.

Last week, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones accused the New York Giants of faking injuries and San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh criticized Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews for his out-of-bounds hit on quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The memo stated the NFL would discipline teams for "conduct detrimental to the league" if such talk continues, according to the report.
