Brock Lesnar did not completely dominate Triple H like he said he would, but he beat him soundly nonetheless at SummerSlam 2012. WWE creative clearly understood that Brock needed a strong win to prepare him for the feuds to come. Losing to John Cena in his first feud at Extreme Rules got him off to a tough start, but that is behind him now. Winning over Triple H and making him tap with his Kimura Lock certainly will do that for a guy. As a huge WWE fan, I can't help but wonder about where the WWE will go from here with Brock Lesnar. His limited appearance contract makes his feuds fairly tough to build. That said, I expect that we will get a quick build up regardless of who it might be.
Give Brock Lesnar a Young Star to Work With
Why should the WWE not capitalize on the star power that Brock carries? He needs to give a young superstar the opportunity to gain some fame now. Ryback comes to mind as a great match up simply because he is on the edge of being over. It could kill his momentum but it could also explode it. That largely depends on if it is booked correctly and Brock is willing to play the game. Lesnar is not exactly known for helping out young guys, so that is up in the air.
Keep Brock Lesnar Away From C.M. Punk
Many are clamoring for a feud between the Rock and Brock Lesnar, but I am totally against that idea. Lesnar is a part time player and so is the Rock. For Brock Lesnar to face the Rock, he would have to take the WWE Championship from C.M. Punk. No part timer should ever hold the WWE Championship and that includes the Rock. As much as I love the Rock, I just feel that is disrespectful to the active workers.
Keep Paul Heyman Doing the Talking
Paul Heyman works so well as the mouth piece for Brock Lesnar that it is hard to imagine him without the little guy. Brock is not one to speak very often and when he does, it is very basic and to the point. Heyman on the other hand can literally bring a crowd to their feet in anger with nothing more than his mouth. Whatever is happening with Brock Lesnar going forward, they need to ensure that Heyman is involved.
