New Marshall coach Doc Holliday will retain defensive coordinator Rick Minter, secondary coach Mike Cassity and offensive tackles/tight ends coach Phil Ratliff, according to HerdNation.com.
Minter served as interim head coach after Mark Snyder resigned, leading the Thundering Herd to a win over Ohio in the Little Caesar’s Bowl.
Price to run Memphis offense
Memphis has hired Eric Price as offensive coordinator, Rivals.com has learned.
Price didn’t coach this season, but he was the receivers coach of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2008. Prior to that, Price was offensive coordinator at UTEP from 2004-06 for his father, Mike. Eric Price also has been an assistant with the New York Jets, Washington State, Northern Arizona, Cal Poly SLO and Miami.

The Notre Dame coaching staff may be taking shape, according to IrishIllustrated.com.
New Irish coach Brian Kelly is expected to retain running backs coach Tony Alford from Charlie Weis' staff.
The Grand Rapids (Mich.) Press has reported that Grand Valley State coach Chuck Martin will take a job coaching defensive backs. Martin was an assistant for Kelly at Grand Valley before becoming head coach.
IrishIllustrated.com reported earlier that Mike Denbrock would join Kelly from his post at Indiana State. Denbrock was an Irish assistant under Tyrone Willingham and also worked for Kelly at Grand Valley State.
Former Eastern Michigan coach Jeff Genyk is expected to join Kelly at Notre Dame, perhaps as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Mitch Browning reportedly interviewed with Notre Dame just before Christmas, according to the St. Paul Pioneer-Press. Browning was a G.A. at Tennessee this season. Prior to that, he was offensive coordinator at Syracuse and Minnesota. Browning could be the offensive line coach.
Passing game coordinator/receivers/quarterback coach Charlie Molnar, defensive coordinator Bobby Diaco, defensive line coach Mike Elston and outside linebackers coach William Inge are expected to follow Kelly from Cincinnati.
