The Brooklyn Nets announced Monday that point guard Deron Williams will miss the next two games with inflammation in both his ankles.
Williams is expected to return after the All-Star break, which is this weekend. He had platelet-rich plasma treatment on Monday.
The Nets visit the Indiana Pacers on Monday night and host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday.
In 50 starts this season, Williams is averaging 16.7 points and 7.6 assists per game for the 29-22 Nets. He has missed one game.
