NBA roundup: Bulls sign G Augustin

The Chicago Bulls announced Friday that they signed free agent guard D.J. Augustin.

Augustin averaged 2.1 points, 1.0 assist and 8.2 minutes over 10 games with the Toronto Raptors this season.

Augustin, 26, has averaged 9.4 points, 3.9 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 24.1 minutes over 368 NBA regular-season games with the Charlotte Bobcats, the Indiana Pacers and Raptors.

He was drafted ninth overall by the Bobcats in 2008.

The Bulls' roster is at 14 players.

--- Golden State Warriors center Jermaine O'Neal underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist, the team announced.

The team released no time table for his expected return.

The 35-year-old veteran, who is averaging 6.2 points and 4.5 rebounds this season, hurt the wrist four weeks ago.

---The Atlanta Hawks recalled guard John Jenkins from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League, the team announced.

Jenkins has played in 10 games for the Hawks this season, averaging 3.3 points and 13.5 minutes.
