Ginobili recently declined a $2.9 million player option for next season. Sources told ESPN that the Mavericks have committed to Barnes with the max contract, which can be finalized July 7 when a league-wide moratorium is lifted on signings and trades. The Golden State Warriors would have three days to match any offer sheet Barnes signs.
