Warriors 121, Knicks 85 Golden State recorded their 50th consecutive home victory Wednesday night, riding Stephen Curry's 34 points to a thumping of the New York Knicks. Golden State's second consecutive season-series sweep of the Knicks capped a perfect six-game homestand and improved the Warriors' home record to 32-0 this season. The 50-game streak, which dates back to January of 2015, is the first in the four major professional American sports. Topping 30 points for the ninth time in his last 11 games, Curry connected on 12 of his 20 shots and eight of his 13 3-point attempts, including 4 of 7 in the first quarter, during which the Warriors (61-6) built as much as a 13-point lead. Carmelo Anthony had 18 points and a team-high six assists for the Knicks (28-41), who lost for the third time in five games on the West Coast in the past nine days. Cavaliers 99, Mavericks 98 Kyrie Irving scored 33 points and came up with a key steal in the final seconds to preserve the Cleveland Cavaliers' 99-98 victory Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks. The Cavs played without star forward LeBron James, who was rested. Kevin Love had 23 points and 18 rebounds, and Channing Frye scored 14 points off the bench to give the Cavs their first victory in a game James sat out this season. They were blown out in the previous two instances and nearly blew a 20-point lead Wednesday before surviving. Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points for the Mavericks, and David Lee added 20 points off the bench. Thunder 130, Celtics 109 Kevin Durant scored seven points in the first 1:18 and went on to total 28 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, while Russell Westbrook had 24 points, five assists and five rebounds for the Thursday, who handed Boston its third straight loss. Westbrook sat out the entire fourth quarter and Durant sat for most of it as the Thunder won their second straight but only their eighth in the past 17 games. Isaiah Thomas led the Celtics (39-29) with 29 points. Wizards 117, Bulls 96 John Wall recorded his third triple-double of the season with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists to lead Washington. Bradley Beal had 20 points and Garrett Temple scored all of his 15 points in the first half for the Wizards, who sank 13 of 21 3-pointers. Doug McDermott scored 20 points for the Bulls (33-33) and Derrick Rose had 16 in his return after missing the previous two games with a left abductor strain. Chicago, which has lost three of its last four games, four. Hornets 107, Magic 99 Marvin Williams and Nicolas Batum scored 26 points apiece for Charlotte, which has won 14 of its last 17 games. The Hornets took control of the game by outscoring the Magic 35-13 in the second quarter, with an 18-0 run over a five-minute stretch. The Magic (29-38) were short-handed, with three of their top players out with injuries. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's 24 points led the Pistons (34-34), who have lost three of their last four games. Andre Drummond notched his league-high 56th double-double with 18 points and 18 rebounds. Timberwolves 114, Grizzlies 108 Zach LaVine hit six 3-pointers and scored 28 points to lead Minnesota to a road win. The Timberwolves shot 56.3 percent and survived being outrebounded 51-33. Minnesota also got 18 points from Karl-Anthony Towns and 16 from Andrew Wiggins. The Grizzlies, whose injury list includes starters Marc Gasol (out for the season), Mike Conley and Zach Randolph, were led Lance Stephenson, who was coming off a right wrist sprain. Stephenson scored 24 points off the bench. Pelicans 123, Kings 108 Anthony Davis scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, Sacramento native Ryan Anderson tallied 21 of his 29 in the second quarter and the New Orleans Pelicans (25-42) blew out the Sacramento Kings 123-108 on Wednesday at Sleep Train Arena. Darren Collison scored 23 points, and DeMarcus Cousins added 20 points and 12 rebounds for Sacramento (26-41), which has lost six in a row at home. James Anderson added a season-high 17 points in a season-best 34 minutes. Clippers 122, Rockets 106 J.J. Redick delivered a scorching start before Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan combined to take the offense to another level in the Los Angeles Clippers' 122-106 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night at Toyota Center. The Clippers (43-24) led throughout to bounce back from a blowout loss to the Spurs in San Antonio on Tuesday night and even their record on a critical five-game road swing at 1-1. James Harden paced the Rockets (34-34) with 33 points and eight assists. Trevor Ariza added 16 points and six rebounds, and Michael Beasley chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench.
