Nov 25 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Basketball Association games. - - Spurs 88, Mavericks 83 Kawhi Leonard poured in 26 points, including the clinching three-pointer with 15 seconds remaining, as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks 88-83. Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki hit a jumper with 2:15 to play, cutting San Antonio's lead to 82-80, and Dallas had a chance to tie the game on its next possession. Guard Deron Williams badly missed a jumper. - - Magic 100, Knicks 91 Victor Oladipo lost his starting job butstill scored a season-high 24 points to lead the Orlando Magic to a 100-91 victory over the New York Knicks. Oladipo, who started 83 of his previous 84 games with the Magic, was benched in favour of Channing Frye. "I'm going to embrace it," Oladipo said before the game. "Whatever it takes to win, that's what I'm going to do." - - Hornets 101, Wizards 87 Nicholas Batum scored 16 points and had 11 assists, and the Charlotte Hornets used a big fourth-quarter run to beat the Washington Wizards 101-87. Jeremy Lamb and Kemba Walker added 18 and 16 points, while Cody Zeller scored 11 as Charlotte outscored the Wizards 25-2 over the final eight minutes to win their fourth straight. - - Pistons 104, Heat 81 Andre Drummond racked up 18 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks and the Detroit Pistons made a season-high 16 three-pointers in a 104-81 romp over the Miami Heat at The Palace. Drummond finished two points shy of his fourth 20-20 game of the season. The fourth-year center topped the 400 mark in career blocked shots. - - Celtics 84, 76ers 80 The Boston Celtics sent the Philadelphia 76ers into the record books with a major comeback on Wednesday. The Celtics, down by 11 midway through the third quarter with their home fans booing, ended their two-game losing streak with a stunning 84-80 win over the winless Sixers. - - Raptors 103, Cavaliers 99 Kyle Lowry scored 27 points as the Toronto Raptors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-99 with a strong fourth quarter. It was the third win in a row for the Raptors (10-6) and ended a three-game winning streak by the Cavaliers (11-4). The Raptors led 82-80 after three quarters and pulled away in the fourth. - - Timberwolves 99, Hawks 85 Zach LaVine scored 18 points and Minnesota's reserves provided a spark in the Timberwolves' 99-95 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Andrew Wiggins added 15 points despite shooting just five-of-17 from the floor, and Damjan Rudez had a season-high 13 points as part of a Timberwolves bench that scored 58. - - Kings 129, Bucks 118 Rudi Gay scored 36 points as the Sacramento Kings held off the Milwaukee Bucks 129-118 at the Bradley Center. Sacramento, who had just one road win this season, were wrapping up a five-game, five-city trip. - - Grizzlies 102, Rockets 93 Jeff Green paced six players in double figures as the Memphis Grizzlies continued their torrid play with a 102-93 victory over the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center. Memphis (9-7), winners of six of their last seven games, made 36 of 64 shots from inside the three-point line and 21 of 23 free throws. - - Thunder 110, Nets 99 Kevin Durant scored 30 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 110-99 victory over the Brooklyn Nets at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Durant shot 11 of 18 from the field to go along with five assists and six rebounds in his second game back from a hamstring strain. Russell Westbrook added 27 points, 13 assists and six rebounds as the Thunder won their third straight game to improve to 10-6. - - Jazz 102, Clippers 91 Gordon Hayward scored 33 points and grabbed seven rebounds, allowing the Utah Jazz to snap a 13-game losing streak to the Los Angeles Clippers with a 102-91 victory at Staples Center.
