Knicks 102, Heat 92
The New York Knicks continued their great start to 2014 by registering the most impressive victory in a run of four wins in five games on Thursday, a 102-92 triumph over defending NBA champions Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden.
The victory gave the Knicks (13-22) a first three-game winning streak of the season as coach Mike Woodson's team seek to turn around their fortunes after ending 2013 with a 9-21 record.
Miami (27-9), by contrast, had won 11 of its previous 13 games.
Playing in his 800th NBA game, forward LeBron James led the Heat with 32 points.
