The Cavs trailed by seven points in the fourth quarter but took the lead for good with a 14-4 run midway through the quarter. Cavs forward Kevin Love added 18 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Richard Jefferson scored 13 points and JR Smith had 11. - - Magic 114, Bucks 90 Point guard Elfrid Payton scored 22 points and added 10 assists in leading the Orlando Magic to an 114-90 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Victor Oladipo had 17 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Tobias Harris scored 19 points, which included four three-pointers. Evan Fournier added 17 points for the Magic. Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and guard Jerryd Bayless both scored 17 points. Harden added nine rebounds and eight assists but also nine turnovers as the Sixers (0-17) fought gamely but in vain while setting an NBA record with their 27th consecutive loss. Guard Isaiah Canaan scored 23 points and forward Robert Covington had a career-high 28 points to lead the Sixers. - - Spurs 91, Nuggets 80 Forward Kawhi Leonard scored 25 points and guard Tony Parker added 13 as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Denver Nuggets 91-80 to win their fourth successive game. The Spurs scored the final 12 points of the first half and the first four of the third quarter to turn an eight-point deficit into an eight-point lead. San Antonio played without forward Tim Duncan and guard Manu Ginobili, who were both rested. - - Warriors 135, Suns 116 Golden State guard Stephen Curry scored 41 points and made nine three-pointers as the Warriors extended their unbeaten streak this season to 17 games in a 135-116 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Reserve guard Leandro Barbosa had 21 points and made all five of his three-point attempts for the Warriors (17-0), who set the record for consecutive victories at the start of the season in their previous game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. Warriors forward Draymond Green had 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double of the season. - - Timberwolves 101, Kings 91 Andrew Wiggins scored 22 points, and Minnesota continued its hot start on the road with a victory over Sacramento at Sleep Train Arena. Zach Lavine scored 19 points, and Shabazz Muhammad added 15 points, as the Timberwolves improved to 6-2 on the road, the second-best road mark in the NBA over the first month. Minnesota also won its third in a row overall, its longest winning streak since a three-game run in February. - - Clippers 111, Pelicans 90 Forward Blake Griffin and guard J.J. Redick each scored 20 points, and the Los Angeles Clippers rolled to a 111-90 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night at Staples Center. Point guard Chris Paul added 17 points and eight assists as the Clippers (8-8) prevailed for just the second time in their past six games.
