Pelicans re-signing Al-Farouq Aminu

Al-Farouq Aminu has agreed to a one-year, $3.7 million contract to re-sign with the New Orleans Pelicans, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Aminu, 22, averaged 7.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in 76 games for New Orleans last season. The Los Angeles Clippers made him the eighth overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft before sending him to New Orleans in the Chris Paul trade.
