Recommendation: The deal includes a $500,000 bonus if McLouth reaches 500 plate appearances and will be a straight one-year deal with no option. He just needs to pass a physical for the deal to become official. It'll be interesting to see what role McLouth will play for the Orioles next season, as they have Nolan Reimold in the mix at left field. In 55 games for the Orioles last season, McLouth hit .268/.342/.435 with seven home runs in 209 at-bats.
