Nate Burleson injures hamstring, raising fantasy football question marks

Browns receiver Nate Burleson has been sidelined the last few days at practice and won't play in the team's second preseason game against the Redskins. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Nate Burleson hasn't been able to practice over the last few days because of a hamstring injury, according to a report by Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Burleson is in his first season with the Browns after spending the last three years with the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Impact: With the status of No. 1 receiver Josh Gordon still up in the air, it could work out that Burleson and Jordan Cameron will have to carry the load in the Browns' receiving game. Burleson can catch a lot of receptions in the slot position but he's not necessarily counted on to make the big plays down the field.

Fantasy owners looking to draft him should do so with a focus on what he can bring to the table in terms of receptions. Aside from that, there may be a few better options to choose from depending on where you snag Burleson in your league's draft.
