50: The number of years between victories by the first and second African-American drivers to win races in NASCAR's top three touring series. Wendell Scott triumphed at NASCAR's highest level, then called "Grand National," on Dec. 1, 1963, at Speedway Park in Jacksonville, Fla. Last Saturday, Darrell Wallace Jr. won the Kroger 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway, beating Brendan Gaughan to the finish line by 1.673 seconds. Subsequently, Wallace did something that would have been inconceivable in Scott's era -- he appeared on the Arsenio Hall's television show "Arsenio" via Skype.
