Thank you letters from players leaving school early for the NFL are pretty common. And generally, they all follow the same theme. A player takes time to thank his family, coaches, teammates and explains why he chose his school and why he’s heading to the NFL.

Thursday, Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett published his thank you on The Players Tribune. It followed the themes of the first paragaph. Until the end, when Garrett decided to sing the praises of a College Station taco joint.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention something else I’ll miss deeply: Fuego, the finest taco dispensary on the planet. Those tacos were always there for me when I needed them most. Wherever I end up next, I will do whatever I can to make sure that Fuego opens a franchise in that city. This is something that is very important to me.

Everyone can relate to this, right? Most of us have a dive we look back fondly upon from our college years, or have a restaurant we hold in way higher regard than others (for the author it’s Whataburger).

We eagerly await the response from Fuego, who has shown it has a social media sense of humor.

And given that Garrett is a likely top-five pick in the draft, he’s going to to have enough capital to make sure that a Fuego can open in his newest city if the restaurant wants to expand. Or he could just get a lot of delivery. The world is about to be his taco oyster.
