Ashe contributed 16 points and Sam Prescott had 13 for Mount St. Mary's, which shot 49 percent from the field and hit 20 of its 23 attempts from the foul line.
St. Francis (10-7, 1-1 NEC) surged in the closing minutes with an 11-6 burst capped by a Ben Mockford 3-pointer to draw within four points, 86-82, with 22 seconds to go before the Mountaineers put the game away from the foul line.
Jalen Cannon led the Terriers with 25 points, while Anthony White had 15 points and 10 rebounds.
