Moss listed as starter for 49ers' opener

Wide receiver Randy Moss, who did not play at all last season, is listed as a starter for the San Fancisco 49ers' opener on the team's official depth chart, according to Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

The 35-year-old Moss, who was signed as a free agent by the 49ers in March, will be paired with Michael Crabtree as the starting wide receivers against Green Bay on Sunday.

Mario Manningham and Kyle Williams are the backups at those positions.

Moss was used sparingly in the preseason, catching just three passes for 24 yards, but coach Jim Harbaugh had praised him for his offseason work.

Moss had been listed behind Ted Ginn Jr. for much of training camp, but Ginn injured his ankle and is questionable for the opener.

Moss played for New England, Tennessee and Minnesota in 2010, and totaled 28 receptions for 393 yards. He did not play for anyone in the 2011 season.
