Junior swingman Justin Black scored 20 points to lead Morgan State to a 66-47 victory over Delaware State on Monday at Hill Field House in Baltimore. Black made 9 of 13 field-goal attempts for Morgan State (13-14, 9-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), which has won four in a row and seven of its last eight. Senior forward Marques Oliver had 13 points and nine rebounds for Delaware State (13-16, 8-7), which has lost three of four. Delaware State jumped out to an early 8-2 advantage and led 13-8 after Tyshawn Bell made a 3-pointer with 12:29 remaining in the opening half. Blake Bozeman answered with a 3-pointer at the other end, sparking a 16-0 run that put Morgan State up 23-13 with eight minutes to go. The Bears continued to stretch their lead over the last 4:30, scoring five of the last six points in the first half. Morgan State led 35-21 at the break and continued to pull away in the second half. The Bears led by as many as many as 24 points after Black made a 3-pointer to put his team up 60-36 with 6:39 remaining.
