LONDON (AP) -- Boris Zlokovic scored four goals and Montenegro survived a late Spanish rally to win 11-9 and advance to the semifinals in men's water polo at the London Olympics.
After a tight first quarter that ended 4-4, Montenegro outscored Spain 6-2 over the next two periods to open up a 10-6 lead by the end of the third quarter.
Marc Minguell scored to pull Spain within a goal with just over two minutes to play, but Montenegro captain Nikola Jankovic responded with a late goal to put his team through to Friday's semifinals.
Montenegro finished fourth at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
